Making coffee should feel simpler than using a coffee machine.
This project explores the interface for an imaginary smart coffee machine, designed to let users select, customize, and prepare their coffee through an integrated touchscreen system.
I imagined a coffee machine that gives users greater control over how they prepare their coffee, translating familiar coffee-making choices into a simple digital interface.

to customizing their preferences and starting the brewing process, while
keeping the interaction simple enough for everyday use.

Reflection
An early exploration in interface design
This project was one of my earlier explorations into UI/UX design. Working within
an open-ended brief allowed me to experiment with translating the familiar experience of making coffee into a digital interface and thinking through how different users might interact with the same product.
Looking back at the project today, I can see how my approach to interaction,
visual hierarchy and interface systems has evolved. The project remains
an important reference point for how my thinking as a designer has developed.
